Hi,

My slot is a S 5500, no bill acceptor has ever been installed inside.  Any idea how to clear that damn thing?

Dip switches maybe...

Thanks for your help.

The machine thinks that the drop box door is either open or
it thinks that the cash box is gone...LOL
Find the two wires going to the drop box.
Splice them together and tape them up so they don't short anything else out!

Hi,

This machine was manufactured without bill acceptor, so no drop box... How can I find the 2 wires that go to the drop box since there has never been a drop box?  Cactus   frying pan

Thanks......................

I will post a picture of the inside of the machine, an expert might tell me which wires have to be connected to each other.

 Problem FIXED!  yes

After putting the machine into pieces and checking the wires, I decided to put the bill aceptor OFF on the mother board by changing the proper dip switch. I resetted the machine and it worked!
