I won't be able to make it this time around.  Have fun at the show.  (I thought the pre-show meet at McDonald's was the best part of the day!)

For those looking for a hotel recommendation, I stayed at the Comfort Inn and Suites in Geneva, IL which was very nice.  It's about 10 minutes from the McDonald's and show location.

Yes, how was the trip?
Did you see any IGT S-series AVP slots? Played a few at an Indian Casino, very nice.

My Vegas trip was AWESOME.  Had a great time.  Didn't win anything, but for the nine days we were out there, we didn't lose all that much, either!  We ate well, played a lot of video poker, visited a bunch of different casinos, and had an awesome time.  I can't wait to go back!

I haven't off-loaded my pictures from my camera and cell phone yet, but yes, saw a lot of new technology from IGT, Aristocrat, and WMS.  I got some really great pictures of the newest WMS Transmissive Reel multi-game machines.  I'll post them here when I get the chance.

Hey Frank, glad to see you can make the meet!! See you there.

Clay, check the area if you are going to be there before Friday for a sit down restaurant. I'm finicky so like a Chili's or Applebees would be OK. Ron, are you and the Missus going to be here for lunch, its my treat!

There was a nice restaurant right next to the hotel I stayed at for the last show called The Country House.  It's about 5-10 minutes away from the show location.

Their website has their menu (it's in the left navigation pane) and info about the place -- here's a link.

Me neither, unfortunately.  While I'm significantly closer than you, CH, it's still a long way to go when I know I'm not currently in the market to buy anything.

Ron, check the link that Kevin posted for the restaurant, if it looks OK then figure we'll meet there at 1 pm. I will send you my cell phone number by email in case there is a problem.

Anybody going to the meet needing A Cham 2  12 cell display. One cell of LED's would get a little flaky from time to time but just moving the board would get them going again, sounds like a cold solder joint. Has back board on it. Just let me know if wanted and will bring it with.

I can always use misc. pens for my job (we go through a lot of them), so if there are any left and you're willing to hang on to them until your next Twin Cities trip, please do so!   yes
