Hello Ken Layton, You posted a photo of an antique yellow parking meter that has a base (flange) that is just like what I would like to use for a base for my drive-in speakers. I want to display my speakers as a desktop item.
Do you know where I can buy a base (flange) like that one?

That should be a standard 2" cast iron pipe flange with a decorative trim ring slid down over it.

Some people collect old parking meters. Here are some resources for antique parking meters:

This document is good for rebuilding old meters:

Hi Ken - do you still have this for download?  I actually just purchased a park o meter but it's not working.  Hoping the repair manual would give me some insight.  Any help is appreciated.  Thanks.

I am a newbie with parking meters Ken sent me some good reading material which I am thankful for. Does any know how the nub comes off so you can refinish it. I guess most of it comes apart fairly easy I guess. Can't wait till my meters get here.. LOL
