I have a video slot machine very similar to the price is right with a top-box bonus wheel.   Hypothetically speaking, if I were to remove the top-box and the entire game, could I install another game that doens't have a top-box wheel bonus?  Any adverse effects?

If it's an IGT Igame+, then yes, just get the other software and a key chip and you should be good to go.  You can even leave the topper, the software will just ignore it.

I agree w/ rick. Depending on how new your bonus device is I would also dissconect the driver board from this device.
