Thanks for the post, I have demolition man pinball and did not realize how the free game by score was determined, only that it changed.

Thanks for the link.  I question the "fact" that he stated about the "match" score.  On my newer pins there's an operator selection for match percentage.  If you set it to 10% it should match on average one in 10 times.  If you set it to 5%, one in 20 times.

Me, too!  At least in the case of my ST:TNG, which is a later game ('93). The games from the late '80s might have been different.

For some reason, I went through a dry spell of about 20 games and not one match.
I was beginning to believe that my "match" was initiated by a IGT RNG chip... rotflmao

Interesting article.  I own a cue ball wizzard machine.  It's set up for free play so I haven't even seen a match....wonder what percentage it is set at.   Scratch Head
