Hello everyone.  I haven't been arond here for a long time, (bought a house), but I'm finally getting some hobby time in.  I got a CHAMII+ up and running in a slant top S+.  The power supply got damaged in the move, (physical damage) so rIght now I'm using an old pc power supply for the +12vdc.  I works fine, but don't want to shoe-horn that big of a box into the machine.
How much current it needed to run my set-up?  I have a few 500mA wall warts laying around, is that enough?  Btw, it is a stand alone setup, 1 display behind the top glass... Maybe a 5x32 cell...  About 3"x18"
Thanks,
Blake

I am not sure I am going to be much help but the Mikohn power supplies are rated at 8amps.

I am sure the board and small display don't draw anywhere near that amount of power.

You might be able to rent a current meter from home depot (these clamp around the power conductors and show the draw).

Thanks Jay. I always thought the psupplies seemed to be way overkill, I just figured it was for anything from a standalone up to a huge megabucks marque.
I just noticed April has a bunch listed on eBay for $15+shipping. For $21 it's probably worth doing that right way instead of guessing.  However, if anyone knows for sure what mA will work, please let me know.
Thanks

Since you have the harness for the Mikohn - April would be a good bet.
I bought some stuff from her a while back and she was out of the harnesses.
