I have an IGT, S+, Triple Diamonds, 3 line, 3 reel, I think 16" top glass. Game eprom is SP772. Reel Eprom is SS6986. The candle has 2 lights. Top is on solid, bottom is off. Book says this means "CHANGE" door closed. What does "change" mean? Game works fine. Also there is a slow flash upper with slow flash lower in the book which means "ALL PAYS" door closed. What does "all pays" mean? Only other 2 are "Idle" and "Tilt" which I can figure means idle, no one playing [OK] or tilt, you got a problem [BAD] As you can tell I am new at this. Only had the machine for a week and the guys on here helped me get it running. I would guess what I need to get is the PSR for my chipset but IGT won't let you sign up unless you work at a casino, or sell their machines. I was also thinking about putting a DBV into the machine but there are no holes to mount one into since it never had one. Must be older before they started using them.

WOW that was pretty dumb!!! Change ment someone needed change and pushed the little red change button. Definite sign of a newbie. I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess Pays means someone hit for more coins than the machine holds and is waiting to be paid. Thanks for helping the dumb newbie.

Oh, I was wondering why it said adjust the chain tension and I couldn't find the chain? Thought I was going to have to start a new "where is the chain in my S+. I am not going to pick on Bunker. Without him They would have me in a straight jacket by now trying to turn off the flashing light that was supposed to be flashing.

Most every one of us started out where you are Wayne. This site didn't exist when I got my first S+ and I started learning by blindly going through the menu and changing one thing at a time, then trying to figure out what the change did. Duh! I did get the Liberty Belle guide, but it didn't cover the detailed setup sub-menu.

Like Bunker said, after studying that manual and spending a few months with your slot and on this site, you'll be customizing your settings, swapping kits, and adding progressive systems for just for fun on the weekends. You'll look back and wonder how you ever got so hooked into this addic -- er -- hobby. Tongue Out rotflmao

Not sure I could have done it without you guys helping me out. I'm no dummy but I'm not a rocket scientist either. I was talking to myself pushing buttons, reading the book, and asking online techs what to do/buy next till I came across this site. You guys are the best for taking the time to help out. Only had the machine a week, it was broken when I got it, Never fixed one only played them, and now I am pretty sure I can either fix whatever breaks on it or get help from the forum. Can't thank you enough. Knowledge is power and you people are knowledgable. Hope I can contribute myself when I learn a little bit more. I'm much better at fixing cars, boats, and motorcycles, than slots but I'm learnig.

The way I look at it if I hadn't run into you guys I would have $800 in spare parts and my machine still wouldn't work. Not to mention I'd be insane. Glad to donate to the cause and I would really hate to see anything happen to the site.

Good idea Bunker. I can't keep one machine running and now I should build another and go insane twice as fast. I told you half the time you crack me up. On the other hand if I have a working spare part for everything, I can just switch anything I have trouble with and it will be easier to figure out. I was thinking about getting a job at our local casino as a slot tech. LOL I could just ask you every day what to do and they would think I was a genius. I'm going to need a red phone hotline direct to your cell phone!!!!! If I could figure out how to put the guy with the frying pan hitting me in the head I would.
