Can someone explain what the difference is between the "regular"
versions of the slot games compared to the gk versions.
I see 9 reel in the manual and can't imagine that the games actually
have 9 reels. Any pics would be great too.

Thanks

I bet thats a "Typo" and they mean 9 LINE games. There are a few GK series games like a 3 reel Double Diamond that's just like the mechanical version, but its a nine LINE payout. I would suspect thats what they mean. At the G2E show I did see a few SEVEN reel machines at the Bally booth...weird (nice looking). The only other 9 reels I have ever seen are the "Nine Liners" like the "Cherrymaster" series of video machines.....

Yeah, I see that too. Who knows? 69 games in a GK now, anything is possible on a video from IGT. Maybe they have "Screen Shots" available on their site? Time marches on and Bally is nipping at IGT's ass. Since they lost the "Wheel Game" maybe they want to head for more virtual reels??

They really do mean 9-reels.  They're set-up like "cherry master" games like Kirk mentioned, or like "Super 8 Line" or "Super 8 Race" on the earlier Game King games.

For example, there is a 9-reel version of Cleopatra slots (traditionally a 5-reel video slot) available on the newer Game King platform.  I stumbled on it about a year ago looking through a new Game King on the casino floor to see what was in it.

I wonder why they do that. It would
seem that 9 reels would be just as
much code as 5??????
