I went to Hobbs NM Casino last night and had a great time on a machine I've never played before......(I'm a video slot girl).....it was called "Triple Diamond"....I played the $1.00 machine and it was awesome!   Crazy I'm hooked and now I want one sooo bad to add to my collection.  I found there are so many different types of Triple Diamond in my internet search.  I found one called Triple Diamond Deluxe, Triple Diamond, Triple Diamond Plus and Triple Diamond Round.  Can anyone tell me the difference?  I didn't pay too much attention to the machine I was playing in Hobbs as I thought "Triple Diamond" was all I needed to know.....boy was I wrong.  Duh!

As I was getting ready to leave, I went into the high-roller room to take a peek and guess what?  There was a Triple Diamond and it was a $100 machine!!!  The guy that was playing it had $3,000.00 into it.....I was nervous for him.  I stayed as long as I could to see if he ever hit..........I wonder.

Any help would be appreciated.

Click on Ricks frequently asked questions link. Then in the upper left corner you will see IGT games bibles. Will give you an idea of what each game looks like. I have a triple diamond 3 coin 3 line. There are 3 line, 5 line, and 9 line in the regular triple diamond. The machines come in 9" and 16" slant top, round top, S+ & S-2000 I believe

Delma,  There are probably guessing roughly at least 100 diff. variations of triple diamond in the newer games.  Triple diam., Double diam. etc. was and still is some of igt's bread winner themes.  B.  Merry X-Mas-- Christmas Tree Jeannie.

Delma,

To add to the above post... The "DELUXE" added to game themes mean that it has a reel nudge feature. In the case of the "X" Diamond Deluxe themes the sysbols will jave an up or down arrow some of the symbols. If a symbol with an UP Arrow lands on the line below the payline, it will "NUDGE" up to the payline, conversely, If a symbol with an DOWN Arrow lands on the line above the payline, it will "NUDGE" down to the payline. I personally enjoy Nudge themes! Being such popular themes, there were many produced, so I am sure that many of our vendors could hook you up!

Here's probably one of my favorite Triple Diamonds games that I recently added to my stock list.  It's the 9-Line version so a LOT of action.  An interesting history of this machine...it has the dark purple candle on top.....yep....it was a high rollers $5 machine or $45 per bet.  Looking at the machine it is near perfect chrome and no doubt sat with very little attention with that bet range.  Truly the nicest chrome and birds eye maple cabinet I have ever seen.

The Haywire Deluxe you sold me was in similar condition -  It's amazing how perfect the chrome is.   I'm kinda a freak and in the casino. I spend more time looking at the quality of the machines than actually playing them.  I have NOT come across an S+ or S2000 that has as nice chrome or cabinet.

I played a Double Diamond Haywire at the casino yesterday
but the one I got from Bettor Slots was way nicer than the one in the casino! yes
(The casino version had faded strips, scratched reel glass and burned out back-lighting bulbs..ugh!
Even one of the speakers finally kicked on after about 40 spins... rotflmao
When I finally hit a Haywire, the sound was like a piece of junk...

If I remember correctly, the machine had a $5 and $10 bet............the Jackpot is $5,000 and $12,500.  Does this found familiar?   I do remember that it was triple or double or someting diamond if that helps any.  Anyone know the name of this game/machine?

Have you perused the Bible?
How many bets could you put into it?
Just one $5 bet or one $10 bet?
Did it have reels or were you looking at a video screen?
The more you can tell us, the more we can tell you.

Stout,
No, bonus wheel or video screen.  The bets would be $45 or $90.  It had 3 reel and one pay-line.  You could win $5,000 or $12,500 with max bet.  I hope this helps.

Hi Stout!

How do I upload a pic so I can show you what I looked like?

Gee...I don't know what you mean by this but uh,...okay...LOL
Just hit the "Browse" button below the area where you type in a topic.
The browse button will open up folders on your computer....go to "My Pictures" if you have an XP or Microsoft computer.
I don't know how folders are displayed in mac's. But go to your pictures and click on it and it should upload i to the post.
The pic my have to be resized so that it's smaller in size than 1,000KiloBytes.

On the betting part of your question in the search for this machine....First you said $5 and $10...now the "max" bet is $5 and $90?
That sounds a lot like a 9 line machine...for example 9 times 5 is 45 and 10 times 9 is 90.
Does that make sense to you?
I'll bet you were playing a 9 line machine but the reel glass only had one line like brichter's or brianzz's machine... Tongue Out

That's the S+ version of the glass in that S2000 but the reel strips are the S2000 type.
