So!!  We are now getting somewhere!! Unfortunately, not in the direction I was hoping.

Machine was already on when I came home last night from playing the night before.
Opened the door, opened the card cage door, and the DS1 LED was on, all power LED's were also on.

Turned system off, waited a minute, turned on.

DS1 flashes on for a sec, then off.
System initializes,  BONG!
DBV initializes,
DS1 light goes on.
BONG
system initializes again,

Ready to play, coin only, works fine

DS1 light stay on.

No LED character light on the CPU board.

power LED's did not flicker when using the DBV.

Also pulled out all the GE550 light bulbs, no change.

I never thought to recheck the DS1 light since everything else seemed to be working. When I reseated the cards or reset the RAM, I had already
turned off the machine prior to opening up the card cage so I really never had a chance to see it on.

The system did not work prior to laying it on it's back.  I received it broken, and initially layed it on it's back to repair, but found it
to stressful on the door hinge.  (also transported it on it's back to my house) After setting it up right, fixed the C5 capacitor on the lower PS board per Joey at NLG and was able
to get the system to initialize.

I will be happy to take up your offer to test the board and compensate you for it.

Really running out of options now.

Great tip on the cherry switch, I didn't know that, needed three hands sometimes to keep that door switch pushed in.
It didn't register to me when Paul stated to pulll the white cherry switch  frying pan

Learning something every day..

Thanks,

Kevin

Heres where iam trying to remember I am not home i am in florida till march but IDO 45 I think is Bally and IDO 44 is williams so to change for bally it would be the last switch in first bank up and the first switch in the second bank i think deals with stacker one way is yes and one way is no I cant remember one is all switches down and one is last one in first bank up which takes it between 044 and 045 on the DBV 200  try a couple of different combinations just move the last in first bank and first in second bank:79-

 Congratulations

I know you've been working on this one for a while -- glad you kept with it and got your machine fixed!  K+ to you for posting the solution, to Neonkiss for helping you figure out the issue, and to John5921369523189 for offering great parts at great prices!
