OK...swapped a (Brand new looking) Ceronix 1492 for my toasted RGB 1401 (Had to rewire the plug, nothing lined up) and Bam, "She's Alive!".... Slight issue, all the colors are reversed!  Duh!  So I'm guessing I need a V- or something (Not an expert here by any means)? How to I reverse the polarity or whatever to fix this?   Help Then I have to find out why it won't coin up, and find a sound board (Its missing, along with the speaker and wiring, bastards)... Baby Steps yes

This is a problem.

Some people have suggested this device might work.

I have a PE+ that I want to swap out my 1401 for a LCD.

I have not tried this yet.

Hi rilaw,

Have you tried replacing the component at board designation 036?  the IC is a XRC5346A (Custom Video IC) it controls the RGB drives...also you should look at the solder pad connections, with the colors you have it looks like the monitor is setup for Bally 5500 poker (solder pad "Y" is closed)... you need solder pad "Q" closed for an IGT game.

Hope some of this helps...

God bless,
Mike><>

Hmmm... OK, Looks like I have C, B, P, S, and A soldered.  Which is listed as a "Mast Keystone" in the manual.  It lists this for the IGT: "Delete degaussing circuit. Solder Q, S, X, and Y. High Res Board".  Do I need to do all that for my IGT, or is that only for newer ones?  So Do I just unsolder A, B, C, P, and S and solder Q??

Thanks again!  Hail

Hi rilaw,

I would unsolder the Mast Keystone solder pads, except for the "S" (due to it being utilized in the IGT configuration) and solder (bridge) the "Q, X, & Y" pads (as indicated on page 53 of the Ceronix Manual).  Originally, I only looked at my notes on the schematic and all I had on it was a reference for the "Q" pad to be closed.

Hope this helps...

God bless,
