Barry hit on what I was about to say.  My conversion monitors have a power supply that plugs into the back of the lcd, mine are door mount WG units.  It does sound like yours isn't getting power.  I'll see if i can find anything on it.

Thanks,
Wayne

Richard,  Post a few pics of the BACK of your lcd for us.  We may be able to help if indeed that is the Problem.  I have some kortex stuff here that is new but I need to see EXACTLY what you have.  Also as a note I would re-store this game back to it's orginal working condition and get the lcd back working.  The other game kit has not been proven out yet. Just my opinion and I am not an expert on this platform but I think you have other problems going on as well. Barry.

I think this manual should cover it, looks like 12 volt power supply.

Wayne,  Great posts,  I scanned quickly thru both of them.  I think the invertors in the first post may be an issue- Scratch Head.  B.  -Richard,  For a "Small" fee bring/ship me the game and I will repair it for you with your desired game change-- Tongue Out. B.

Hi

Even with no signal from machines the LCD should still display no Signal or something similar when powered up. If you have an extension harness of some kind and a multimeter check if there is power from the power supply.

Forget Key Chips, Boards and Software, and Replace the Power Supply on the back of the LCD, 20 to 1 odds, any takers? or if you don't believe me I will send you a monitor to put in it and show the bet results

Richard,  As soon as we thaw out here I will look for a pwr supply.  I thought at one time I had some new ones.  That being said keep your feelers out elsewhere-It probably would be good to have a spare anyway.  Later B.

I know I'm kind of late posting on this one, but the power supply displayed has three weak capacitors in between the large heatsinks...C825, C828, & C836, out of twenty repaired power supplies replacing these three capacitors has brought 16 back to "life"...C825 & C836 are 1uF 50V...C828 is a 47uF 50V.  I know you've already ordered a power supply, but with a couple dollars and a little time you can have a spare...

The best thing you can do for the monitor is leave the metal cover off of the back of it, all it does is keep the heat on the boards & with the monitor installed in the game there is next to no chance of touching anything that would shock you.

Good luck & God bless,
Mike><>

did you look at the link that was posted?  you can likely repair it yourself.  Probably faster than the slow boat.

Thanks Wayne, I did review the link. Somehow I was send the wrong power supply replacement I was sent a power supply for the machine and not the LCD.  I would like to repair the existing power supply, but I'm not sure where to buy the replacement capacitors and correct part numbers.  Mikes post gave me the numbers and where they are located. Thanks for the information! Freebird4

that same info(locations and part specs) was posted in the link as well as some other troubleshooting tips, perhaps you didn't scroll down,  not that that matters anyway.  There should be an electronics supply store somewhere near you that would have the parts, or theres always digikey or ebay.  Hopefully your new P.S arrives soon.

Ok, how about I send you a CRT to diagnose the problem between the Power Supply and Monitor, just need to know if the Monitor is a 19 Pin or 25 Pin connector, I know I didn't sell you the LCD, but I am willing to help you

Thank you for the offer to help me figure out what my problem is! I will gladly pay the freight on the CRT! I counted the pins on my monitor and it has 21, counted pins on Game King plug and it has 19.  Dumb question is this correct? Maybe extra ground pins!
