Is it an S+ -based game?  The only reference I can find to it with a Google search is it being some kind of UK "fruit machine" -- not a typical S+ Barcrest deal.  Looking forward to pictures!

Thats good Barry Smiley
Nope buying this one outright...
Kevin...I have NEVER seen this version Barcrest, thats why i want it. It's S+ based..has the typical S+ MPU slide in, BUT it's on the LEFT side of the box and NOT on the back wall...
The power supply for the topbox is behind the reels.
Will play with it tomorrow, also have a 3 reel Konami on the way..the one with the LCD panel for a 4th reel...

Kirk,  Those do not ring a bell with me--- Duh!.  They probably will be pretty cool though-- Scratch Head.  Mine blows flames on the side lcd when you hit something, turns the hit in 3-d on the lcd esp if it was 7's and talks, The lighting is just awesome on the game-the reel lighting above the reels does multi-colors, the reels are back-lit,it talks etc..  For the price of some of these games it is a whole lotta bang for the buck in my opinion but probably a bitch when they break- Scratch Head.  Oh well that is why we are all here on this forum----- yes.  B.

I forgot,  As a note the lcd also doubles as a paytable on some models as well then animates upon wins.  These are still on casino floors in a lot of places.  Pretty heavy machine as well.  B.

Barry- Thanks for the info and pictures - K+

Kirk- I've played Golden Theater -- it's okay, but not sure that I'd keep it as a home machine.  Congrats on all your new purchases, though!

Brought home a Konami 3 Reel with a 4th video reel...
This thing is PRETTY and kinda weird.....
Built TOUGH/Heavy with lots of chrome...
Backlit reels,LED's under the reels when you hit a payout
4th Reel is a video. GREAT audio! this thing sounds nice!

It has NOT been shopped out yet, there are lights not working in a few reel positions and buttons.
This is what it looked like when I got it home and powered up.

Kirk,  I have to say I like that game-Nice theme on it.  These are a diff. breed of animal with some very cool features.  These are just as advanced as i games etc. if not more so.  So watch out for that.  I guess you felt the weight of the game- Scratch Head.  Anyway k+ for sharing and you keep digging the games out of the sand there--- arrow Tongue Out Clap. Thanks Barry !

It's a weird game, uses a "Pill" for a reset key. The 4th "reel" is the data center for the machine, has all the stats and options listed there.
The good part is you insert the "Pill" in a holder like a battery (looks like a battery but its not) and you dont have to totally clear the memory.
you can go in on the fly and modify things...thats kinda nice.
If you cause a reel tilt its a bitch to clear, open door, close door, open door turn key, release key close door....you can cause one by looking at it wrong.
But it SOUNDS awesome and the LED lighting is pretty, cant capture it with the camera.

Kirk,  Good deal and glad you are aware of the key.  I need some keys as I have None.  The lighting used thru-out these games is just in my opinion off the chart and over-kill but I like it.  That includes the lcd's (plenty) and the regular lighting. B.

Hey Kirk... Boulderdash is very similar to Run for your Money; but with a Flintstone's type theme.   Nice game... as are all Barcrest's IMO.  If you look at Barry's flier pics; you'll see HULA HULA.  I have this game and it is BY FAR the best game of all Barcrest's  ( again IMO).  It's the same as TRIPLE DOUBLE DIAMOND DELUXE WITH CHEESE; but with a Hawaiian -type theme.    Congrats on the new games.   Bill

The Pill as you call it is a product known as an IBUTTON,

Ibuttons can be used in a lot of applications where RFID would be used but some also have their own memory and processors so they are often used for cash cards, transit passes etc.

Joey had a Konami Advantage machine in the store quite some time back, and I remember how cool it looked, sounded and played. That 4th reel LCD was definitely different from any other design style I had seen then. Congratulations on your purchase KirkLasVegas. applause applause applause

Finally went and got the Barcrest Boulder-Dash. Now you KNOW they run in packs..or at least in pairs...so his baby sister had to be adopted too...
Her name is Jewelof the Crown....and shes coming home here soon too. They have been homeless for a while, kinda dirty but I think they will clean up and be nice...
