I am curious why with all of the IGT machines that have come out of the casinos, why is there such a shortage of toppers for these
games?  It seems that tons of others brands show up on flea-bay and the like, but rarely any for the IGTS we all love?  Were they just destroyed?
I seem to remember quite a lot of them in the casinos back some years ago.   hissy fit  It just doesn't seem proper that all these wonderful machines being
put into private collections don't have that finishing touch glowing brightly in many home game rooms hissy fit new

I think alot of casinos recycle the old toppers and pop them on new themes when they come in, just change the plexis out and there's a new topper

That makes sense.  It just seems that with the thousands of older machines that have been put on the market,
that there  would be a plentiful supply of the basic oval topper at least.
Thanks for the reply   yes

A local casino nearby leases every one of their machines on the game floor...
however, all the toppers - they had to purchase.
I see hundreds of old S+ IGT toppers sitting on top of even the latest machines.
They reuse the old toppers? - yea, they don't feel like shelling out thousands of dollars
more for shiny ones that basically do the same thing as the old ones ... Tongue Out

I seeen the ad and was very tempted.  I just remembered why I don't have an IGT topper.  Way too expensive.  Oh well.  One day I will run across one.  But anyway, I was wondering the same thing too but never put a thought that they would reuse them.  Duh! It makes perfect sense.  As long as the inserts can be made, why not reuse them until they fall apart.
