Sorry if this has been covered before,

I was curious if there is a way to use the bill acceptor (DBV 200) Without the cash can installed?
Is there some way to bypass it?  This is on my slant top PE+ poker machine.
It would be nice to just open the door and run the bill through again without pulling the can out every time!
