i need and want help. i have a bally game magic all works fine exept the sound. have minimal sound at jack from main board but no volume control to speaker.
any help is appreciated

Scott, the Game Magic board is almost identical to the Gamemaker board EXCEPT for the sound. Since the sound files are derived from the CD, I would look in the setup menu to see if there are adjustments there. Also the Gamemaker uses a separate deluxe sound board for dedicated games. I don't know if the Game Magic uses something similar.

I  believe the Vol Control on Game Magic  is the basic potentiometer on the front of the "game board".   There is a configuration in the programming / set up that shows a  "switch"  on screen  to turn sounds off /  on   ...also   attract sounds  off /  on.    The Game Magic sounds are somewhat to be desired...not that impressive.  I don't think they used any  external /  extra  Super Sound Board.
