Hello all!

Was it anybody here that won this auction on eBay??  I really wanted to buy this thing but $300 was just too much for me to spend right now...

Anyone ever work with one of these before??  I've only seen one other eBay auction before and I missed that auction by accident Sad

I'm pretty sure most of us would have liked to mess with it. I also thought about it but haven't any experience with them.

I watched that auction but read somewhere that you
needed some proprietary software to make it work...
I could not figure out what that cherry switch is for though...
Maybe it's to push the door open...lol

If you looked closely, the software was missing. (40 pin Eprom)
Also,  stayouttadabunker is right you need software that goes on a server.
But, If your in need of another doorstop, then you're in luck.
Sorry I don't have better news for you.

These are back at $40.00 shipped.  The one in the photo has a 40 pin Eprom.  Will it do anything without a connection to a server or is it just a $40.00 doorstop now?  Thanks.

Wohoo!

I just bought 2 of them!  Probably just a doorstop - but the price was right and I am curious....

Did you have two doors that needed propping?

I bought one about 10 years ago

They do need special software.  Sad

Jim from Blueridge knows more about these..

They had them in the West Virginia casinos years ago.You would cashout your machine and take the ticket to the cashier. The cashier validated your ticket with this machine then payed you. Some what like they do with lottery tickets.
