just changed my machine to multi denom, all seems correct, installed the switch, but have no power to the light holder, and switch wont change the denom, stuck on 1$ could i have missed a step or not have turned on something?????

  I just jumped in here ... just curious..is this a Vision game?  ... I tried converting a S2000 VISION WCP with no success... apparently none of the following can be anything but single denom.

So what game are you trying to do this with and what is the SG chipset you are using?
