I have a  S+  game stealing coin in. i Rebuilt the C/I assy  still stealing i think i have to RR the game board is that my next step ... any one know?

I would check the black plastic incoder guide to make sure it's the right size for the coins you are using

If it's stealing before the maximum coins have been inserted, Ben's suggestion above is right on the money.  You may have the large coin guide in there, or a broken coin guide.

If it's stealing after the max coins are inserted, check the rake to make sure it's working properly and diverting extra coins to the tray.

mine does this as well. Sometimes it takes a quarter but does not register it. How do we make sure we have the correct encoder size? How do we tell them aprt from other denominations?

I guess I am stealing this thread but does anyone have a .25 one for sale? I have a spare encoder
without the plastic encoder. I think it is a IGT #58405411.
