I cannot get the 2 tier candle/tower to stop flashing on my frenzy machine.
The white part on top.

I went through the settings in the tower configurations and it looks to be set fine. (0000)

I don't know of any error that would make it flash, The machine works fine.  yes

Also, Does anyone know what this piece does that is sitting inside the top of the candle?

Thank you!!    waving flag

That would be way to easy!!   Tongue Out

When I press the change button, the speakers make a terrible low pitched sound, The change button lights up.
But the candle does not change. It just keeps on flashing,  When I press the change button again, The light in the button goes off,
but still the candle does not change, it still keeps flashing.

Thanks for the tip Buzz........... bust gut laughing    rotflmao
Try pressing the change button!!

I took the bulb out for the picture, The bulb is in and it continues to flash!!

If there were any error codes, would I still be able to play the machine?

I took out the bulb so you all could see the little board that is in the candle better.

Yes, I have never seen a board like that either? I have no idea what it is for.

As far as the candle, It was loose when I got the machine, So I took off the glass and tightened up the nuts that hold on the candle, And made sure the green (ground) wire was attached to the nut and bolt.  But I may just check it again!
I think I would make sure the candle has the ground wire grounded, should be the green wire. remove the top glass and green wire should be attached to one of the screws that hold the candle in place ( make sure screw is tight )    I have never seen a board like your in a candle!!

Is there a "Data Vault" installed on this machine?
And is your change/service light flashing at 5 second intervals?
Also, how many coins do you have in the hopper?
If it's one of those hoppers with a "low-coin" sensor -
then you need to put more coins into the hopper to
get the light to stop flashing.

I saw the Data vault part in the manual (NOTE: Tower configuration is not
selectable if the factory option Data
Vault™ is installed. In addition, the
CHANGE/SERVICE light will flash at five
second intervals to indicate an error
condition.)
How do you find out if the Data vault is installed?
The candle is flashing at a steady pace, Not in intervals.

Can you see this low coin sensor in the hopper if it installed?
Thanks for the help!!   Jim..................

See those 3 big "washers" on the bottom of your hopper bowl?
That's the ground contacts that alerts the MPU to send flashing signals up to that special LED board in you top candle.
Because your coins are only filling the bottom of the bowl and are NOT touching the metal contacts - you have a "low hopper" candle error.
Throw more coins into the hopper and the flashing should go away....

OK, I filled up the hopper with nickles to completely cover the contacts and it still continues to flash.  bawling
I am really stumped. Now I know why the bulb was out when I got the machine.
I guess having the candle working is not that big of a deal (The machine works fine) It is just the fact that I cant get the light to work correctly.
It really irritates me!~ I just like everything to work....................
I will keep playing with it, Maybe somone wired the change switch backwards  Tongue Out  Thanks for the help!  Jim...
