hi there
i'm mario and i live in italy
i have 2 game with 2 strange problem

virtua striker 3 (dimm board)

on naomi "Error 22: Communication Error between main board and option board"
the naomi recognize he game, and i can enter in the menu test of game and set diffficulty etc etc etc
i trie in variuos naomi 2 and whit different i/o board and usb cable
i have test the voltage on cap and is ok
samething to trie ?? i think the naomi "see" the game board like a dimm board  Help

zero gunner 2

on naomi "error 01 the game is not recognized"
and i can't enter in test menu of game and naomi not recognize the game  but i can test the rom  bawling

Error 22 sounds like a problem with the DIMM board. Double check the USB connection on the I/O board to make sure it's not loose or damaged as that could also cause that error message to pop up.

The Error 01 is usually blown interface buffer chips on the cartridge. It has been thought that if you run the NAOMI systems at 5.2 volts or above you'll eventually fry those buffer chips.

ok let's trie to change this buffers chips ... but where are ??  Scratch Head


this is a photo of the card ...

can you sell me the chip that i need ?
can i remove from other card or i need new one ??

for errror 22 no is not a problem for the usb Sad

9 Sad is possible all 9 broken ?
is possible to test each chip if it's broken ?? with tester is possible to see if it's broken ?
can you sell me the buffers chip ? or better can i send you the card and you change these chip Wink

It's easier and quicker to swap out all the buffers than to test each one.
