I have just been given the responsibility of keeping up our CDS components & was hoping someone had some useful information for me, I have repaired several card readers by re soldering wires & replacing micro-switches but have a dozen or so still not working

Which specific models are you interested in knowing more about?
There are several kinds really...can you post some pictures of these units for identification?
Do you have any on the bench fully hooked up?

Sometimes when I finally stick my global global card in they start working. You might want to give it a try it helps me.
