From an IGT perspective.....Its a coin optic issue if that helps...... the message occurs when the coin reverses direction going past the abc optics. The check was put in to prevent stringing.

Sorry I can't be of any futher help as it specficially pertains to Bally.

Now I'm only kidding when I say this...did you put the coin mechanism in upside down?  Tongue Out

Is there an "Error Code" number besides the writing?

Something triggered a sensor of some sort to tell the machine that a coin went in backwards...
That's all I can think of...maybe closing the door will reset it it and the error will go away.
If not, I'd try a partial clearing of the ram and see if the code goes away?

this error and solution appeared somewhere - the error clears when door is opened/closed but I seem to feel it is the comparitor.

Adjust the slide at the bottom of the mech, just a bit wider than the coin to pass, not much more

I had the same problem on my GameMaker, and just like blueridge said adjusting the slide at the bottom fixed the problem.  In my case I believe the coin would bounce just enough to trigger the COIN REVERSED - SEE ATTENDANT error.   Mike

Hi

The CC62 has optics built into the comparator - http://www.slottechforum.com/slotinfo/Techstuff/CD5%20Assemblies/Coin%20Mechanisms/Coin%20mech%20CC-62/239.pdf
