Right now my S+ machine pays out of the hopper after it reaches 400 credits.
How do I go about raising the hopper payout to 1000 credits, Or more?

Thanks!   Jim...................

Example: Changing the Hopper Limit
If you push the white self-test switch 12 times,  you should see a 7 in the coins played window,
a 1 in the credit window and a four digit number in the winner paid window, with the rightmost
digit flashing. This number you change to the value you want, for the hopper limit. Use the
spin reel button to change the currently flashing digit and the jackpot key to move to the
next digit.  Repeat this until until you have the desired hopper limit. Push the self test button to
save and/or to go to the next page. Close and lock door and the machine will reset itself.

Jim-

The directions to make the change depend on the SP chip that is in your machine.  What SP chip is in there?

Make sure your dip switches on your CPU board has 1, 2 and 3 on and 4 thru 8 off to be able to manually set your limits.

Follow reply 1 .. but it might be 13 times?   but will have 7 in the coins played window.

FYI ... 4 doesn't have to be off but there may be a time when you change to certain games then it will need to be off.

Ok, Pushed the white button (14) times, Got #7 in the coins played,

And 0400 in the winner paid part.  Changed the 0400 (The old setting) to 1000,

Closed the door, And the machine reset.  Time to load it up with credits and see

what happens!  Thanks for the help everyone! K+  The manual seems to make it more

complicated than it is. (Or it just appears that way to me  Tongue Out )

I heard the guys that wrote and typed up the original PSR's were lined up
behind The Desert Inn Casino and shot by Frank Sinatra.

Course, if you believe that  - I have a few original beads my great-grandmother
handed me down through the generations from when they sold off Manhattan Island.  yes
You can have them back for a measly gaming compact with NYS and a court order for NYC to
erect an 80 story Hotel & Casino right in the heart of Central Park - for me.  Crazy
Of course, if you can swing that kind of a deal, you probably wouldn't be on NLG.  Tongue Out

Older game proms will only let you adjust the hopper limit .. which is also your jackpot and credit limit. Newer game proms will let you independently set the hopper limit, jackpot limit and credit limit. Both older and newer game proms have a separate credit limit for dollar bills.

I remember playing with all kinds of hopper limit, credit limit, hand pay limits, etc...
until I was totally comfortable with how these things work.

Yep, but I know you aren't going to read it cause you hate instructions.  rotflmao Just look at the bottom
of the first page, that will tell you who wrote it. That will save you from reading much. bust gut laughing bust gut laughing
