I'm curious what sounds these machines make.  I just bought a sound board from another member for my Fort 1 which had no board, and it only makes a sound for coin up, nothing else?  no  So I'm wondering if I have a bad sound chip or if the board is bad???  TIA

The Fortune one doesnt make music. There are 7 unique sounds. One sound for each coin in. The sequesce of sounds is the same, but since there is 7 sounds and five coins, the sound you hear on the first coin will be the sound heard onthe third coin of the next game. I dont have a recording of the sounds but they are almost annoying sounding.
its kind of like this....

whooooppppp
blubbubububub
whirrrrlllllllllll
shwooooopppppppppfwirrllll   lll llll llll lllll
ploinkkkkkk

Ha ha,  its harder to write these than i thought.
thern when you cash out it just makes a whistley-blurp for each coin out.

Hi,

I just bought a Fortune One Video Slot and it actually has a working sound board. I posted a video of the game in action.

Yes, that is a fortune one in the video. F1's weren't just poker. They came in 21, two handed 21, video slot, some sort of acey deucy in between game and a couple of other games. The slot doesn't have the button panel like the poker games. There was a credit version of the slot which did use the button panel. It only had three buttons.  Bet one, bet max and start (spin).

To anyone who reads this....I am still looking for a working F1 sound board. Please let me know if you have one.

O, OK, Sorry... I have only seen the poker models....  I have a few sound boards now.  I bought them off another member but none of them seem to work, I don't know if its the boards or my machine.......So I gave up on mine ever having sound.. When I have time, I'm going to clean it up and give it to my father.

Okay I'd love to resuscitate this thread on IGT Fortune 1 sound. Mine DOES make those sounds and, after actually reading them written out, I've started laughing almost uncontrollably in the middle of Starbucks and I'm getting funny looks!
Along with the listed sounds, mine set off a pulsing "siren" alarm when I hit a four of a kind and had 300 credits. I think it is set to auto pay after a certain amount. Does anyone else know more about this odd machines and the sounds? Mine also has an alarm that went off when I initially opened the hatch for the mpu. If I've done this correct here's a video of my working IGT Fortune 1 with sound.
Actually there were TWO more sounds it made!
