I am sending this note. After getting a Buck ahoy Reel Touch I noticed the Topbox was running at 98f degrees. I took the lights out ,replaced them with LED strip lights . I added a fan under the LED box to push more air thru the unit where the processor board is, I added a Fan on the Right side topbox ,then I cut a hole in the upper right top see pic and the operaTING TEMPURATURE droped to 80f degrees.
jUST WANTED to inform everyone how hot the reeltouch topbox is. IGT did not vent the topbox enough. Ken

Jokers,  I think you may have posted this on some other threads but you are correct. What you have done will add a longer life to your game for sure-especially for home use.  K+ for all your posts from me.  B.

No problem with the Bluebird, temp gauge says it's OK....

And a VERY quiet night on NBC's satellites......weird!

The temp guage for the slot is awesome!

Make a Bluebird or a temp indicator?
If its a Temp indicator..check out this one..makes it real easy....

The equipment rack....
Two of several Ku and C band satellite rcvrs.
I watch quite a few birds on 72/79/83/85/101 and 103 degrees for news from ABC/NBC/CBS/FOX and the independants as well as uplinks from satellite trucks.
You see a lot of stuff that never makes it to air Smiley
Yes it's true, the dirty jokes, the NOT PC jokes, burping, picking noses and wearing a fancy top with worn out jeans...total riot.
Sometimes they have to do the "bit" several times to get it right..

Kirk is into satellite chasing as I. We swapped some information on some birds in PM a while ago. One of my favorites is 83 degrees W with RTN east and west. and 97 W for foreign broadcasts.

TRUE!!
I'm watching "A" team on RTN west as we type Smiley

Yes..the yellow box is indeed a version 3 Birdog/USB. VERY important tool for aiming non motorized dishes.
I have 2 motorized and seven fixed dishes out back, most are 36" Fortec and a 5 foot "Ringmount" for "C" band (3.7 -4.2 Ghz)
NOT pictured is another rack with the C/Ku band stuff and a Avcomm "Spectrum Analyzer" (there is more than TV on satellite) Smiley

Nope! wide open in DVB format. Some of it is in HD, but thats OK...I can decode that too.No "Encryption" at all, it IS "Digital"

Interesting... stir the pot / get cooking

P.S.  this is NOT "DishNetwork" or DirecTV"

Still, I would have thought that they would want to prevent competitors and others from getting the signals since the stories are worth money to their respective stations (ratings).
