Picked up another non working slot on sat. This one is a Igt s Money Storm. Giving me a code twelve but the battery is new .Coin comparitor is not working, rejects all. I had to put it back together, spring and counter weight found in back left corner of machine.the comparitor is a cc-15 is this correct for this slot ?The guy I got it from said it worked fine until it started rejecting the coin. Both wires  going to it have 10 to 12 volts.HELP

Money Storm is a type 2 game with haywire action. This would not be supported in an S slot. Are you sure that you have an S, or could it be an S+? You should be using a CC-16D 24v comparitor in the S+.

Also, new batteries have been known to be bad. In fact, it's much more common than commonly believed. Have you checked the battery voltage with a VOM? It should be about 3.7volts or so if it's new (3.6v battery) If it is below 3.0 volts, it would need to be replaced.

I actually have two of the s-slots the MPU has three connectors one on the right lower two on the top. Both machines have a daughter board on the main and the chip on the Storm has a H W label on it. The old battery had 3.3. volts ( Wife insisted i change it ) new is 3.6. If it needs a cc-16 I will try to find one have no idea why it has a cc-15. Thanks Dale

If any one has a cc-16 with  a two wire harness coming off it let me know . I also need to know which two wires are supposed to be hooked to the reset key switch. What color and from which harness  [ WIRE COUNT ] . Someone cut the wires loose and I want to be sure and hook up the right ones.
