OK, What did I get???

I picked up a few progressive displays. They are in a nice chrome steel frame to be mounted into a slot machine.
The only connection is a 20 pin (10 X 2) connector on a ribbon cable.
Anyone know anything about these displays? Manufacturer?
What do I need for a driver/power supply?
Since it only has the ribbon cable data and power must be all together, Anyone have a pin-out?
It's also internally illuminated with two small cold cathode tubes behind the sign that reads PROGRESSIVE.

I hooked one of those up last year with a CHAM44 I believe...
Or the mini-photon display driver board...either one worked as long as it had the 20-pin header.
Those particular headers also contain the power lines via the ribbon cable
to power up the display as well as the data signals.
They're pretty simply to set up and do not need the extra
power wires from a larger Mikohn power supply.
Johntoomanynumbers has the mini-photon driver boards and
the proper ribbon cables on his website.

I wanted to start a post about them but my two mini-fluorescent tubes were
burned out and I couldn't find replacements anywhere...
Do you have any numbers on your tubes?

I think those are driven by a LED5 (Cham1) not (LED4) Cham44.

The LED4 does not provide power through the ribbon cable while the LED5 does.

The LED4's are generally for the larger overhead displays.

The only hook up I recall was the 20-pin ribbon cable and
I did have it running with a LED5 (CHAM1) like Jay said.
I wasn't sure about the mini-photon though but I'm betting that
Jay is correct in that the mini-photon doesn't carry enough juice for the mini-fluorescent tubes.
The mini-fluorescent tubes are soldered to the board while there's a tiny fluorescent driver
unit as well,  soldered into the end of the board right next to the tubes.

OK, Yes the bulbs are soldered in. I do-not see any numbers on them.
I removed the entire assembly from the frame to see it has any part numbers or manufacture info.
It does have a bar-code tag that reads 341-010-95  14c, micro,W/Lamp  00105244 (1)
The circuit board had a stamp of an oval circle with ET in the center
No other connection for addition power to supply the lamps or anything else.

The display panel is 14 cells long.
It was always a strange one with the LEDs being 7 high x 5 wide.
It's somewhat more normal to have the display LEDs configuired as 8x8's.
PGIC wanted to make LEDs like this for some reason to be implemented
into the CHAM3 driver boards but they filed for bankruptcy court before it was put out.
