LED Tube lights for S2000

this is the interface, it plugs into the plug that would go to the electronic ballest. the Led strip goes inside a plastic tube with end caps that have two pins on each end and go in where the lamp would be.  (enlarge the picture to see this)      Jim

Had several requests for info on the LED strip:   I did not buy it, it came with the machine!, however there was some information on the unit I can pass along.

The unit had a HAPP number on it  91-1017-00 (plastic tube/ end caps / LED STRIP)
The interface had this number on it: LED TECH    PCBLBO5013


As stated in an earlier post, LED TECH is located in Van Nuys ,CA.   may want to check them out??

That name sounds really familar to me, but I can't quite place it.  Do they, perhaps, make the LED chaser parts in the oval IGT toppers?

But I am wondering if these might be better??  They are 12 inch long instead of 6 inches long.

Sounds sensors?  Interesting.  I too thought the shipping was pretty high considering how much these things weigh.  What do you need sounds for in a light??  Is it going to try to talk to you??

At a fabric store called Jo-Anns Fabrics, they sell clear or colored plastic tubes.
I thought of saving all my old burned out fluorescent tubes so
I could bust off the ends and Goop them to the ends of the clear tubes...
stick in a strand of white LEDs running off of a couple of resistors and
12Vdc from the unused "Line Bet"shadow box red connector off of the door harness.
I'm guessing I could make these cool lights for about 3 or 4 dollars...
Remember, it's just for fun...it won't be UL approved or anything.
"It could even burn your house down!"
