this is a bad day machine number  two is down. i clear the machine with the jumper. i start the machine  up no error codes but it will not take the coin.drop in the tray
 i clean the opit no coins jam?

yes i put in  token and then a 25 cents. and i put in a new comparitor thr green light on the comparitor does not light up. i check my bally 6000 and that lights up ?

Check the toggle switch thats next to the reset on the mpu tray and make sure it is in the up position !

If I remember correctly the green light will not light up when the door is open.  If you pull the door cherry switch out the green light should come on.   Also get a small screwdriver and turn the comparitor sensitivity all the way down.

what kind of coin comparitor are you using?
It sounds like one of those X10's perhaps?

That was one of the first things I noticed these ones when I first began
to play uh,...tinker around with my Bally5500 Proslot machine!
At first glance, I thought something was wrong!  Tongue Out
Because I played with S+'s so much - I was so used to having
the CC light "OFF" when the door is open!
