I can never resist the challenge at Casino Royale -- they have a $10 or $20 bonus in their funbook sheet if you spin greater than 40 on their Wheel of Fortune slots.

GAH!  I want to be in Vegas right now!

I buy small CRT type gamemakers for $500/600 all the time. i would say this is NOT a great deal...unless you have a dune buggy rotting away in your back yard...

What kind of MPU's in a WOF? A plain board or cd driven computer?
Or worse yet, server-based?

Stout,  Depends on which variation of the wof, they have a lot of them. Some are regular processors and some cd driven as well.  All wap and server based no matter which game/type/theme for the most part.  I have heard of talk about stand -alone software -mostly high denom. (up to 100.00).  Again just talk.  Have a good weekend-B.

The original reel WOFs came out long before server-based slots, so that could be ruled out.  Since they existed on the S2000 platform, I can't imagine that they require a CD, either.  There's nothing terribly complicated about them when compared to another slot other than the wheel bonus on the top of the machine.

Again depends on which theme/game/model.  Some require a cd.  The complication to 99.9 % of folks is making them work - The guts to most of them are not complicated but you will need to understand those guts and know all the other guts/gizmo's to have a shot at this one. My guess anyway-Who know's-Thanks B.- arrow

Here's a local posting. These can't be original/legal can they? I don't have any knowledge of the IGT platforms. Just is curious to me.

I can't speak for all sellers but I would say a good 80% of the S+ chips you see on Ebay are copies.
The ones that say orginal usually have an IGT sticker.

Now the interesting thing about the S+ platform is that IGT gave  many of the casinos the right to copy their own chips.
You can see that they would find this easier to allow the casino to update the game chip on their own schedule, and the casino may have had multiple reel chips with different percentages.
So from a purely technical basis (other than the sticker) there is no way of telling if the chip is licenesed or a copy.

My thoughts on the matter was that if I owned IGT Orignal Glass and strips I was pretty much entitled to the software.
On the flip side what good would it be to have IGT chips and no glass.

Limo's and more. 1100 slot machines. $860.+ per machine. I don't think so. Must hate casinos too.

10,900 for a 5yr old Limo isn't bad. I doubt they had too many hard miles on them and proabably kept clean.
Too much for the slots.
I emailed asking about a Player Tracking Sytem/Cash Managment and what they may have availalbe in signage.

Well,  I wonder if that is a generic pic or actually the kind of machines they say they have- Scratch Head  Someone- Scratch Head should contact them and get a list of these 1100 machines.  If they are good ones we could all "pool" our  money here and offer 10.00 each for them taking the lot of 1100 machines!!!- bust gut laughing.  It could work huh- Scratch Head.  1100 machines would make this community here- Dancing Party Just a silly idea on my behalf-Sorry B.  I am in that area often so if someone gets a good lead/info I can arrange a appointment to veiw the "goods".  Let me know if this is a legit deal.
