Thank you both!  I thought it was a good price too, especially in the gold package (or so it appears to be gold).  I think I'll check into it.  :Dave

Well, I bought it and love it!   yes

I had no idea I would enjoy an S+ so much!

The gold plating is quite worn off where the keys are.  Can this be recoated?  If so, what do you recommend?

There's a couple in my area that has had their Pink Panther skill stop for sale for 6-8 months now at $500....and they won't budge one cent. I'm guessing they are trying to get what they paid for it...

I wish I could get $900+ for an S+

I had an s2000 on craigslist for $500 and had a handful of people take the time to email me to tell me I was crazy and that they weren't worth half of that. Had a couple people tell me they'd do me a favor and give me $250 for it even though it wasn't worth that much

Silly Me! bust gut laughing

I guess with Craigslist you get what you pay for   frying pan

Here! I know there's a few people here with  Top Dollars. This sounds like a good price but I don't really know how rare these particular strips are.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/IGT-Backlite-Top-Dollar-Reel-Strips-/140869681425?ssPageName=ADME:B:SS:US:1123

SIDE NOTE!
PEOPLE...when you post those FUNNY CL ads, CUT and PASTE the ad in!!! In many cases, I just get this:

This posting has been deleted by its author.

Then the rest of us miss out on the FUN! Come on...take five seconds and cut and paste the ad (and a picture if you want to blow another minute) so all the love is shared around! rotflmao

Backlit strips would make them for an S2000, not an S+

My fault! I didn't mean to say "older." I changed my wording. I have a Double Top Dollar...my bad! It is for an s2000.

I've never seen a hand signed machine on Craigslist! This might be nice for any of you in Southern California.
http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/tag/3418282688.html

Rare, signed Dick Butkus Vegas Style slot machine. WAY under priced.....need to sell (price is FIRM).

Needs one button replace - otherwise, works great.

Hard to tell.. Might cost more to repair then it worth?? I did buy a Bally video poker last year that was just a burnt power plug on the main board.. This could possible be the same thing..  From the discription sound like it still plays but just has now video output...

What in the world is this???

Quote
Bally's Game Magic Slot Machine - $175

This machine powers up and cycles through 8-10 different games, then stops on the last game but doesn't play.
I'm only guessing it has some sort of computer problem.(way beyond my fix-it capabilties)
Only useful for somebody who knows something about these machines.
