Kirk, I have to say that I'm jealous. Your luck and choices in the machines have all been top notch. Those leds are nice, but I like the shape those reel strips are in. I couldn't see any fading. I'm hoping that if you can't find an original award glass that with the monitor taking up so much space that a repro won't be too noticible.

I will have to get the top glass made. The machine is coin-less, no coin mech or hopper..but thats OK. I gave $300 for it

My biggest problem is i have so much fun getting them back together, i want to keep each one of them. The only exception are the Sigma's (150B and 300B). While they are cool looking...they tend to be boring.
The Mata-hari was missing the 64Meg card so I needed the ATA10065 files and the BGM 00169 files too.The 20 meg card is toast. I got it running using a 64Meg Kodak flash card for a digital camera and a PCMCIA to Flash adaptor. The machine seems to like them and I can get 64meg flashcards at WAL*MART. The Flash to PCMCIA adaptors can be had on E-bay for ONE DOLLAR HAHAHAHA....cheap!
This machine also had a MMLB in it with a 00042 SIMM..WHY??? it doesnt use it. I ripped it out. ALL the sound comes from the LCD display.

Well I think its great because you found out something at least I didn't know about the adapter for the pcmcia, Jeff & Jim did ya catch that? Cause finding a compatable pcmcia flash card is expensive. The MMLBII is also a good find and can be used in almost any Vision ready or S2000 the 42 Simm is generic. As long as you have the room, cash and dispensation from the "Other Half" keep going, you can always sell off those which loose their appeal later.

Right now My collection includes 2 S+'s and 1 Williams 400 applause applause, The game kits that I have are 5 times pay, Leap frog, Double Diamond, And Mag 7, And on the Williams machine Leapen Lizards. I also have a non working Universal machine that I don't count as I'm trying to part it out.

Thanks for asking.

By the way can a Williams 400 be converted to a dot mation machine?

Mark

Yes it can, you just need to buy a topbox, the proper harnesses, and of course the right set of eproms, reel strips and Glass.

Glass, Glass, and more Glass.  Must have glass.

Between S+ and WMS 550, I now have about 200 sets of glass.  It's tribbles part II!!!!!  And enough reel strips to stretch them out about 1/4 mile.

Found this on Craigslist:

http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/bfs/1048526545.html

Quote
Bar/Grill/C-Store w/gas - $400000 (Foxboro, WI)

Combine a bar/grill/convenience store w/ gas on one of Wisconsin’s main northern Highway’s and it’s easy to understand why they have great cash flow! 9.7 acres with Campground on site with a covered outdoor BBQ facility for summer parties.Gaming machines (darts, pool, video poker) bring in a substantial amount of revenue. Great Burgers and Steaks! Smoking is permitted! They are the DNR registration spot for game and are also the UPS drop off center for the area. Call Steve at 763-972-9077 or visit our website for other business opportunities at www.hospitalityservicescorp.com

I agree. Odd..  Scratch Head Scratch Head Scratch Head   ... Minnesota Gaming Laws don't seem to say anything about allowing VP.

This isn't an official legal site, but it seems to be accurate as far as I can tell:

Wrong state.  It's in Wisconsin (the listing was on the Minneapolis Craigslist site).  Either way, I don't think Wisconsin allows gambling on non-Native American land either (just like Minnesota's laws).

In fact, I think Wisconsin is more strict about home ownership of slot machines than Minnesota is, too.

According to this guy, this machine has been used in a casio, and there's a sticker on the side that indicates which casio it was used in.  Didn't casio make piano keyboards?

Also, he'll sell you the manual for $100.00!  In a different listing he's also advertising a pachislo machine where he'll "throw in the manual for $25".  What an asshat.

Yup.

Tell him you already have 4 of them and you'd never buy another because they're all broken, but you'd like to have the manual on the off chance you can combine parts from all 4, and with a little luck and sacrificing a goat you could have one working machine you could sell to make your money back on the manual and free up some space in the house.

Yeah, but I remember when I started out, $550-650 for an S+ 3-4 years ago was a deal. Drove all the way north of Detroit to buy 3 S+ machines from KFBob (Nice guy). I didn't even hook up with NLG until after I got my first 2 Gamemakers. Members who get on here first before buying are definitely ahead of the curve on slot purchasing because of this forum. Someone that just cruises Ebay and Craigslist probably doesn't know any better.
