Hello all.  Just found your site.  Hoping to learn a lot from it.  I just bought my first machine, a Universal Double Jackpot.  yes Not sure if it was the right move or not.  From what i am reading it sounds far and few between for parts. Silly Me!  Glad mine is fully operational as of now.  Looking for a manual if anyone has any ideas thanks in advance.

NLG Welcome     EricWood!  There are a few Universal owners here that will be happy to help you.
Uniman comes to mind as a good knowledgeable person on Universals. Hope someone will step
forward to help you soon. You might tell us the kind of Universal you
have to narrow it down some.

Again welcome and hope you enjoy the forum.

Hello everyone from sunny Arizona.  This site and its members are are terrific resource and the members make it fun too.  I started lurking last year after purchasing an IGT S-plus but am now over my head with two S2000's that need some TLC.  It has been said that if you have three or more of something you are a collector.  Well, this is one thing to collect I never saw coming.  Now I have to figure out how to use those smileys.  Andy.

Hello! My name is Ken ,and I'm a new member here with my 1st slot machine;a bally super continental 891-1.I never had a slot before, and this one's pretty cool. It's fully operational & needs no parts to work except for a few small cosmetic items,a good overall cleaning & some lighting issues.I got all of the service manuals I could find to go with it along with the schematic,so I'm all set with the paper.I attached a photo below.I am in the process of finishing up a wheeled stand to put the slot on so I can get it off the floor.Right now the slot is parked next to my jukebox(rowe/ami cd-51),an old candy vending machine(nat'l vendors crown cc deluxe),and a pinball machine('70 GTB Baseball).I have found that the slot & pinball share alot of the internal "guts" and are quite similar inside.I also recently picked up a round electric beverage cooler from a local blockbuster video store that was going out of business for $20;it has its own refrigeration unit.
So what should I look out for & be aware of when working with th slot?? I was going to clean the inside of the top backglass but with the condition of the paint on the backglass I'll leave that alone for now.If you have any other tips to pass along it would be very much appreciated! I don't suppose anyone wants to see more photos.....lol..... Tongue Out.I was referred to join here from someone on a jukebox list. This looks like a real cool site & I hope I can get any help I may need. Thanks!
Ken
p.s. oops my bad...could the mods please move this to the welcome wagon thread....thanks....sorry for the error...

Thanks Ford, it was really neat to meet with you also. I really try and make an effort to meet as many of the members on NLG as I can that are "close" in distance to me. I would encourage others here to do the same, never know, might make a friend or two. Yes, the wind and rain was bad and almost hit a mallard duck on 25 but he flew away at the last minute. Please do follow up on the information that I gave you.

Just joined the site after lurking for a while. Got my first slot last weekend. An IGT S-Plus.

I've already benefited a lot from this site learning before I bought, and hope to learn more and contribute as well.

Hi everyone !

My name is Jessy and I´m helping my uncle to open a new casino in Ecuador. I don´t know a lot about the machines so I might have a few questions for anyone who know about this stuff !

Btw the casino is named Hotel Casino del Rey and it`s in Manta, Ecuador.

Thx !
