Hi, I'm JC and I'm a ForumAholic.

My dad gave me a few gaming machines that needed a little tender loving care.
That is what brought me here.
I'm hoping to get these back up and running.

I have a pretty cool game room set up for my 3 teenage boys.  I can just envision the the parties they have while the wife and I go out of town.

I'm a retired commercial/industrial electrician.  Mostly installs of high voltage transformers etc.
If you guys have time, please help with any info you have to get these back to running condition.   Yaaayyyyyyy!!!!

Welcome JCnBoys.
Post your questions about your machines in the correct forum section and I'm sure someone will help you guys out. Get those teenage boys to help you in the repairs. It will be a good learning experience for all.
Do you know the manufacturer of each machine? Take them on one at a time to avoid confusion. Also pictures are very helpful. Then describe what symptoms the machine has or is missing.
I'm sure you will get them up and running.

Hello to everyone.  I am new to this site.  I have three slot machines and have a slight problem with the Bally 6000 machine.  Searching for answers I found this site.  I will navigate around and see if I can find answers before I bug anyone.

Hi everyone,

Another Newbie here.
I just got a "Bally Double Dragons And Diamonds" machine.  I don't know anything about the internal workings of a slot machine, other than....helping the next lucky person that takes over my machine and wins the monies I have deposited.
Someone refered me to this site, to help me expand my knowledge in the ownership off a slot machine.  Looking forward to exploring this site.
I guess i'll start by trying to obtain a manual for this machine.  Would someone be so kind to point me in the right direction.   I tried the search function and wasn't finding a manual or a download.
Hope everyone has a nice day today, and
Thanks In Advance on any info you may send my way,
Tim

Hi all: I'm from the UK & just found your excellent forum. I used to be A Field / Workshop tech for an Arcade company but have been out of the game for a while. Hoping to get back into things after Christmas.

Hi: If you click on Forum index to get into the main section & then scrool down the screen you'll find the section for NLG members who host their own repair logs, Channelmaniacs Arcade components Old school repair logs are there.

Hope that helps: Andy

Greetings To All My New Fellow Members

I am new to the sight and have been involved in restoration for many years . One thing I have learned about learning is the more you learn the more you need to learn. It never ends and that is the beauty of it all and what stirs and fuels our common interest.

Many thanks to New Life for having me on board and very much looking forward to hopefully being a useful member  to the group

Be well all

Hello! I am soooo thankful to this site!! I was drivin here because I decided I wanted a slot game room...and I am cheap so my first machine ended up being broken (atronic cashline). I am a certified computer engineer so not much of what is in a machine I have not seen. I am learning that this is a whole different animal, and I am not sure where to get the equipment to work on these machines...I am at the mercy of a somewhat local repair facility that I think is trying to take me for a ride!! I sent my atronic boards in for a clearing(I dont have the clear chips) they called 2 weeks later and said we cleared it, reprogrammed and now get an error with the graphics board. I know this machine worked fine before the eprom battery died...They want me to trade it in for a measly $150 credit towards one of their refurbished machines...nope I want my boards back! So that is what led me here and now I am concidering opening a repair shop for these if I can aquire some of the equipment to fix them Smiley

Hi,
My name is Dave and I live in Ohio, south of Cleveland.
I have just  purchased an IGT S+ Red,White and Blue 25cent single payline built in 1997
I am in the process of cleaning it up for the wife's Christmas present.
I am also building a stand with a power switch on the side so we don't have to open the door
to turn it on and off.
I must say I am impressed with the build quality and the availability of parts.
I have Googled looking for a few questions I had and ended up on this forum, so I decided to sign up.
Thanks for your help so far. wave

 NLG Welcome   matter2u and DF777

matter2u hope you find the info you need on your Atronic machine. Sorry to say there are not many members that have them.
But you never know untill you ask your questions. yes

DF777 Years ago I built several stands with switches on the side for my machines. They are handy if you don't want to turn on all of your machines at once (Oh you will be getting more because they multiply in the dark). rotflmao

Hey... Just found this site and joined. Looks like a wonderful resource for sharing info and just making friends with the same interests. I live in Vermont and have been restoring and collecting jukes, pins and a few slots over the past 20+ years. Always looking to learn something new. Just acquired a nonworking Bally s5500 Black & White and an Autoslot. Sounds like the Autoslot will be a challenge!!
All the best to everyone in the New Year 2013!!

Hello, I am new to both this site and the slot machine world. I am in Pennsylvania and looking forward to learning from this forum. I am not sure I am posting in the right place or not. I seem to be having a problem finding where to post new questions.

I have lots of questions and would appreciate any advice as to where to post the questions.

Thanks and Happy New Year to all.
