Dan, I have never no been able to park 2 cars in my garage but this one time (in band camp  bust gut laughing just kidding) I was able to park the Mustang in it.  yes Now I just converted part of it into a fun room or man cave so parking the Mustang in there isn't possible anymore. bawling  She's outside in a portable garage now, thanks to Harbor Freight.  propeller

Hey guys I'm a little new to the biz but stumbled across the forum recently and see it as a cool place. I am working as a slot tech in Houston for the game rooms around town. If you weren't in the industry you wouldn't believe the variety of equipment we come across. My personal bane is bill acceptors LOL. Anyone familiar with ICT's A6? If so lemme know I have quite a few questions about them and didn't see anywhere they were being discussed. Thanks!

Welcome Pokerdonkey and slotsteve,
On this site, we all work together to solve problems and we all learn together at the same time.  It sounds like both of you have a little experience under your belt, that's great for all.  slotsteve - I hope your move goes well, I think the regulations in New Jersey are tight for a place that's had casinos for a long time.

All the best of luck to both of you.

Thanks,
Wayne

p.s.
I spent a few days and more dollars in Atlantic city a couple weeks ago, may do it again in August.

Hi,

I came to this board to try to get some information on an LED Display module I picked up and want to use in a project.
After a lot of web searching and poking around this site, I think I know what I have is a "Progressive Display", probably off of a "Pot-O-Gold" (POG) machine.  The display module has 12 5x7 tricolor LEDs and is made by Dynamic Displays Inc.  The model number printed on the board is S019A (2I7X60M).

What I want to know is how to use the RJ45 interface to drive the board to display arbitrary messages (in multiple colors).  I'm assuming it is a simple serial interface, but need to know the pinouts and voltage levels accepted by the board.  I can probably figure that out (I have an electronics background), but any help would be appreciated.

The real problem is finding out what protocol is used to tell the board what to display.  I suspect hooking it up to a serial port of a computer and sending it ascii text just isn't going to cut it.

Any suggestions on which part of the board I should post this query?

Welcome Richard, It's good to have you here.  There is a thread for "General Discussions and technical information for Odd Ball "Other" Progressive Systems"  I would post it there, perhaps someone has it in a manual or is familiar with it.

Hi Betting Wild,
Hey! I got my Sigma Treasure Tunnel up and working...
Thank you so much for the parts you sent me...
I was looking the Sigma 150-PLUS manual and on page 2-15 (On top)
There's a software option that I wanted to change but the machine won't let me.
In fact, that's the message I get in the VFD display...lol
I press the "Test" button and get the message "A: DENOMINATION" and ".50" is under it.
How can I change it to a .25 cent denomination?
The manual says in the definition:
[ Current machine denomination. Contact your Customer Service Representative (Yea...right!....lol)
and request denonmination conversion EIB 97009.]
What the heck is this? Scratch Head  a chip?

Any help from anyone really on this would be fantastic!

Hello

My name is Mike from southern California. Our home gaming experience started with Williams arcade classics for WII. Funhouse looked like a fun game and we were fortunate enough to find one locally. Since then we've added Road Show, my wifes favorite, Creature From the Black Lagoon and Twilight Zone. There was an open spot, so we found a Double Blazing 7. It works great, but I have a few questions about the coin/credit situation etc. Along with being blessed with a wife who enjoys gaming as much as I do, I try to play a little golf now and then. Great site and I'm looking foward to being a part of it.

Thanks, Mike
