I took 4 years of French in school, I'm very rusty but when I'm in Montreal, I can get by.  Easy to say since most there speak english.  If you're ever in Montreal, you have to try the smoked meat sandwiches at Dunn's.  makes me want to drive there now, and while there, the night life is awesome..

I have to agree, I have been there in Mtl. and surrounding areas many times over the years. My favorite food is St Hubert (chicken place) Also the home of the most notorious HA "Mom" Boucher
