This is the best Type 20 game in my opinion!
The SS0303 reel chip has the best Hit & Win frequency! >>>

The last one made was SP1249, it has the most options.

A Type20 SP chip will not work on a 10MHz board - it's too slow.
You'll be required to run it only on a 16MHz board.

How about the SP1077?

It's a Type 20 SP chip - same rule applies.
ALL Type 20 SP chips require a 16MHZ board...
There are no exceptions that I know of.
Your best bet is to buy a 16MHz board so you will
more options and games to choose from to run.

I'm afraid that I have to disagree with you, Stout. I have never used a 16MHz board and have played my Double Spin Five Times Pay with no issues on a 10MHz board.

SP1249 is intended for a 10MHz board.

Tim, another thing you might consider is that the older SP chips allow song changes, and the double spin games play a song (although for only very short intervals) while the double spin is taking place. I chose to use SP810 so that I could select the tune that played during the feature.

SP1077 is listed as a Type 20 chip. Its release time is within the period where the older bookkeeping meters and song selection were packaged with the newer hopper/credit limit features, so that might be a good choice, but I don't have any information on that chip, so I don't know for certain. I don't even know if it is a 10MHz or 16MHz chip.

It is listed for a 16MHz in the PSR sheet.
Could be a typo error...at least I know now for sure it works as well, in a 10MHz board.

I am totally wrong...it IS listed for a 10MHz board!!!!
I checked again and I am so sorry if I led anyone into the wrong direction.
Cancel your orders for 16MHz boards! lol

I apologize profusely to you Statfreak...you were right!  Hail

I don't know why I had it stuck in my mind that Type 20 was destined for 16MHz boards...no idea!!! Duh! Duh! Duh!

The cool thing about that kit is it tries to search for some winning combo every spin!
How can you lose?  rotflmao

But what I don't understand is, you bet one credit and win one credit all day long?
