Hi gentlemen

I just received a PM from a new user from Argentina asking me if there was a way to install SAS equipment in Aristocrat machines.

Though it was a good idea to put the info in this section for all member to benefit from it, not just the guy that contacted me you know....

So...  this are pictures of the installation I did some time ago while I was in Margarita Island, for the first casino I worked for..............

Some details I took in count to make this happen:

- I ordered a local metal worker (actually an artist in my opinion) to make some brackets to fit both the hardware and the machines door's external bracket.

- Once all parts got together in machine's door, I moved the plate of the fluorescent lamp to the back of the top box to make some room for the player tracking hardware.  Just couple of holes with the drill and voila!

- The wiring was tied to the top box with tie wraps to keep the look nice and clean. (LOTS of tie-wraps, I love them!!)

- The SPC2 board was installed in the right side lateral of the top box in order to have a quick look at the SPC2's status LED without having to open the machine's main door (watchable through the hard meters window).  That's easier for technicians when they need to make a diagnostic (they'll thank you if you do this cause that LED tells all about system operation in these machines)

- Even when the hole thing had a clearance of just millimeters, there were no problems to close/open the machines door.... It just worked  arrow

- Watch at the end a comparison between the original machine and the one with the system already adapted, and online.

Hope this post answers Daniel's and other members questions regarding online systems in Aristocrats.

Best regards

Thank you very much for your reply. So now the query is whether anyone has information on the GAMMA protocol.
Or where you can get that information

Hello

GAMMA become GSA (Gaming Standards Association) Their current standards are G2S for machines (Game To System) and all info is available on their website. As far as i know their standards are only now making it into actual gaming devices. For which machine is this ?
