Last night I put my Fox n Hound Vision kit in a machine where my Super Spin was. I got everything installed and the 7 Segment Display Mismatch error showed up. How do you clear this error? I tried opening/closing the door, Key Chip procedure and went through the menu, but couldn't really find anything. The 7 segment display comes on and works perfectly in the test menu, so I'm at a loss...

The 7 segment display "IS" different than my other machines (See pics) and I'm guessing that has something to do with it. I searched the site last night, but could not find any info.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Rob

I wonder if the options in your chip support the multi-denom touchscreen pad?

I think the machine is setup for a 5-5-2 display and your new cabinet has a 6-6-3.  Try changing it in the KEY CHIP CONFIG II menu, item 7.2.7 "7 Segment Display Type"

I took a look at my S2000 Vision and it doesn't have 7.2.7 menu option, but my standard S2000's do.  I think that may still be your problem, but now I'm not sure how you fix it Scratch Head

It would appear that SG380 doesn't support the 6-6-3 display.  This is from the PSR:

7.2.7 7-Segment Display Type
Although this option appears, it has no affect. The only available 7-segment
display for this version is 5-5-2, which refers to the number of digits in the
Winner Paid, Credits, and Credits Played windows, respectively.

It didn't even appear on mine, but I didn't actually key the machine either.

ETA: Glad you found an adapter to get it going!  yes

It sucks I lose my MD touch pad, but I can always install it in another machine.

None of the vision games support the 663 except for Mata Hari 3 & 5 reel, Double Diamond Run 3 & 5 reel, and Cleopatra 3 & 5 reel, and only  if you use SG00621.

Hi, folks

I just had the low main battery message on my S2000 (Triple Double Stars.)  I just pulled the main board, pulled out the old OEM battery and replaced it.  I assume it went well?  Regardless, I continued to perform the RAM clear, then used the Key Chip (31) to reset the machine.  That's where things got odd.  I know I have done this before, when I first got it with no problems.  This time, the farthest I can go is with the Dot Matrix display giving me a 7-Segment Display Mismatch error.  I went through this twice (i think) using both 6-6-3 and 5-5-2.  If I look at the display, I seem to be able to count 6 spaces in the top line, 6 spaces in the middle line and 3 spaces in the bottom line.  Wouldn't that be 6-6-3, then?  I have perfomed a reset on this machine in the past with no problems (when I installed a Multimedia Board.)  Am I missing something?
