Hi gang,

Since I have gotten my 1114, it seems to payout more than it takes in.  Today I cleaned the hopper really good and after robbing my 2 daughters' piggy banks for quarters, (replaced quarters with bills)

I kept $25 out and put $75.50 in the hopper.  after I played the $25 I counted my winnings, $14.25   I played that and hit two $15 payouts back to back.  When I finished the $14.25 I had $39.50.  After only 16 spins ($4) hopper was empty.

So I kept out $20 and put $80.50 in the hopper.  within 30mins or so, the hopper was empty yet again!  Biggest win this time around was a 60 credit (which emptied the hopper)  mainly it was 6, 15 credit wins. And one 54 credit win.

I know we all like to win, but how in the world did the Casinos make any money off of this thing?

Well, casinos have patience. They like it when you win, as long as you come back and keep playing, because in the long run, the inexorable laws of statistics are in their favor. Why don't you calculate the odds for your machine - I'm sure you'll find the payout is less than 100% and in the long run, you will give up that percentage. That's how they make their money.

<digression> Reading, as I do, the financial press, it's perfectly clear to me that those Wall Street guys have no patience at all. They mark the stock down if one high roller has a lucky weekend.

I have a Bally 831 nickel fruit and it takes my money with ease and gives back hardly anything. A 50 coin win is quickly put back in.
I am sure glad I can reach into the coin collection drawer and help myself!

Well I finally hit the top award.

I checked the counters and I was 1,135 quarters ahead for 132%!
NOW, 48hours later, I am 702 quarters in the hole with an average of 76%!

Now, to find that lucky streak again!  The machine spoiled me too early!  I've had the machine for 5 days now, and have hit every payout on it,                      not to mention until 2 days ago, I had to keep putting my winnings back into the hopper for it to payout.  NOW, I'm having to dip into the                         hopper to be able to play!  I need more quarters!
