Help I have a VLC Winning Touch model 8724 that lost it's mind when the main board battery died. After replacing the battery the place that I bought it from indicated I needed to get a RAM Clear Chip to reset the unit for a main board number 778-101-001.

As this machine has never needed this chip to run, I assume that the clear chip is only needed to reset the board then it can be removed.  Where can I find one of these elusive chips to borrow or rent temporarily to get this system running again.

Any ideas.  I'd hate to turn it into a boat anchor or part it out if I can avoid it.

The number on the chip in U35 is 150-07F0.

I am located near Phoenix, AZ.

To know which clear chip you need we need to know the number on the little pal chip in socket U35.
The clear chips are based on jurisdictions.

Also, it would be good to know your location -- you can add that to your profile, or just let us know here.  It's possible that there may be another NLG member near you who has the clear ("zero") chip you need.   propeller
