DOUBLE BLAZING 7'S Hopper problem

Somewhat new to forum, I got a 7'S from craigslist and when I go to hopper test it starts  to pulse the coins but goes to a code 3.1 like the hopper is empty.
I filled the hopper to what I think is enough. I guessing the quarters have to cover the 2 contact areas in the plastic tray,also should this model have a Jackpot bell?  Thanks Ron

Hi Ron,
  Welcome aboard.  The first question I have is: what model(year) machine do you have?  do the quarters come out without registering, if so the hopper may be for a larger size coin or have  a worn knife that wont lift the quarters high enough to break the optic beam.

Hi Wayne, thanks for reply, it is a MODEL S6213WT10 and dated 1996, if I win 2 coins ,it will slowly spit them out but anything above that it seems to time out
and give me the 3.1 code ,it has the same speed as when I push the forward button.  Ron

got it to work sometimes, looks like it will reverse when pushing button,however when I push the forward button the red lite also lights and when pushing both it will not run the hopper  Ron
