Recently bought a 5 Card Draw machine that we got home and played three times then hit payout and it locked up.  The screen is frozen on the last hand.  We reset the machine, unplugged it with no luck.  The guy who sold it to me says it is a chip that needs replaced, but a friend suggested that the hopper might be pulling too many amps and that could burn out the chip if it is bad.  Anyone have this problem?  I am not looking for a short term fix.  Any suggestions?

What re-set procedure did you do?
Are you sure you performed it correctly?
Sound like the machine is still stuck in handpay and has not been cleared.
