I have a S+ that works fine then the credit light, coins played light go out and the slot machine feeezes up.   The reset button and the key don't work/or have any affect.  I pulled the MPU out and reinstalled the board and the slot worked again for 1 day.  Then the same problem reoccured.  Anyone have any ideas as to whet the problem is?  No codes showing.

Thanks

I would try replacing the power supply first.  That's usually what causes odd behaviour like that.

Check the power connector on the motherboard too, it's a common cause of this problem on S+ machines.  See this thread: http://newlifegames.net/nlg/index.php?topic=4078.0

I third the dirty power connector, and second the power supply. Tongue Out

If both of these check out okay, I would look for a component on the MPU board that is overheating and failing.
