When I turn the game off, I see the screen shrink down... It's either the board died and isn't putting out video or the video position is such that the screen is on the side of the tube and not on the front of it... I'm going to put the board back to the hacked up way it was & see if I can get the video back like it was. It was on the screen, just with a 2" gap at the bottom of the screen...

OK... it's fixed... broken trace... I replaced the 200ohm control with a 500 ohm and have enough now to adjust the screen down to where I want it. Looks good now!

Does any one have any info on the 17k-3005 monitor in terms of trouble shooting?   It has a P829 power board.   Has anyone seen a cap kit for it?

Monitor does not power up right away, can take 1-2 hours before giving a picture.  Also makes a clicking noise like a relay etc.

There are six electrolytic capacitors on one side of the large heatsink...
   C107   a 100uF, 50V.....P/N 606774.....$0.25ea
   C108   a 10uF, 50V.......P/N 607849.....$0.20ea
   C115   a 100uF, 200V...P/N 609916.....$1.45ea
   C117   a 22uF, 160V.....P/N 609828.....$0.44ea
   C118   a 1000uF, 35V...P/N 158377.....$0.49ea
   C120   a 100uF, 50V.....P/N 606774.....$0.25ea

The part numbers are from a Jameco Electronics catalog...they are current prices...change these capacitors...as stated previously, any (and every) time I've had a W-G monitor "click" when turned on it has been the above capacitors that had become "flakey"...

Good luck,
Mike><>
