 have changed my IGT S+ game ( proms game & reel).
After game and reel eproms installed on the cpu board, game works perfectly. Bill validator was off. Here, It is correct.
I have replaced Game eprom by Set Chip#15 and validate the value on 9-1, and the denomination on 0.50C (like before).
Again, RWB game eprom placed, bill validator activated, but,now,  it do not recognises any bills !
The bill is eaten, but after 1 or 2 seconds, it is rejected. My bill acceptor is an IGT IBA4 for Euros bills.
I have replaced older game and reel eprom, and the problem still the same.
Some guys here confirm chipset#15 is not good to use with european S+.
Well i need a chipset who do : ( If Chip #26 do the same, then it is ok).

 - modify the denomination, to enable/disable the bill acceptor, to modify the token value, to select the country code associated with the bill acceptor

 - Credit Type
Selection  <0> [5]   The credit type cannot be changed if there are credits accumulated.  Options are Standard Euro credit {1}, Euro noncredit {2}, Nevada-style credit {3}, Nevada-style noncredit {4}, Lottery-style credit {5}, Semi-Euro credit {6}, Token credit {7
}, or Semi-Euro credit II {8}.

Country Code Display [20]   This page is displayed only if the bill acceptor is enabled.  Displays the country code associated with the bill acceptor.  Can only be modified using the set-chip.  Options are:
Argentina {01}   Germany {14}   Morocco {26}
Australia {02}   U.K. {15}   Norway {27}
Austria {03}   Gibraltar {16}   Poland {28}
Belgium {04}   Greece {17}   Portugal {29}
Brazil {05}   Guernsey {18}   Romania {30}
Bulgaria {06}   Holland {38}   Russia {31}
Canada {07}   Hungary {19}   Spain {32}
Columbia {08}   Ireland {20}   So. Africa {33}
Cyprus {09}   Italy {21}   Sweden {34}
Czechoslovakia {10}   Jersey {22}   Switzerland {35}
Denmark {11}   Luxembourg {23}   Turkey {36}
Finland {12}   Malta {24}   U.S.A. {37}
France {13}   Mexico (25}

Some S+ themes are also a different IDO ... the PSR usually reads "Uses ID-023"
If the IDO doesn't match it will reject bils. On the DBV 145 and 200 I believe the ID is controlled by a dip swtich. I am not sure about the IBA.

If you can post what chips are you using someone might be able to send you the correct PSR and PAR for your game.

I personally have never heard of that specific set chip but that doesn't count for much.....

set 16 may work, it is prescribed for sp1008 I believe.  Other international set chips are set 11, 13, 19, 86 and 87.  There are likely more that I don't have listed.

Thanks,
Wayne

Well you didn't look here, We have it, and probably a correct SP chip to make life easier, the best thing to do though is to find out what protocol the BV is though

I would first try the SP731 with the set 15 and set up bv normal, and try changing the country code to (7) in the main menu, it may change be a setting associated with the BV from magnetic BV head (US) to non magnetic, I remember getting S+ from Canada years ago and bv's wouldn't work unless we changed country code

Country Code <O> [30]

Determines the country code associated with the bill acceptor.
Options are United States (37) or Canada (7).

i have already try countries code (7 & 30) with CS#15 and SP731 : always same problem: BV enabled but accept no bill ! no
My IGT S+ come from European casino, but i don't know which country. Scratch Head
I just know BV model is IBA4 and working with Euro bills.
SetChip#86 can select severals european countries, and SP1137 fit with RWB deluse.  I think i should finish with something good !! ...

TOPIC RENAMED AND MOVED TO 'OTHER BILL VALIDATORS' BOARD.

Sopat, I realize that you were not able to resolve this issue, but if you do find a solution at some point, please post back to help others who may face the same problem in the future.

Thanks,

I remember this!
I thought it was funny when I saw that the "Holland"
dip switch position worked for France...lol
This thread was split into another one somewhere on the site
or it was a double-posted problem.

It was in the classifieds. I put it here after the 30 day window expired because the thread had useful information beyond a request to buy.
