Hobby

I'm looking for a couple of old 24V hopper motor/transmission sets.
Now that so many folks have gone ticket in/out, hopefully some of these are still available.
If you live in/near the Reno area and have any of these please contact me.
I've built a solar powered grain grinder with one, and now want to make my new little pasta maker solar powered too.
They are great units since they've got such good torque, and are reversable.
A 35W 12V solar panel runs them quite well, and a whacky friend is making a rotating composting machine out of one.
Of course 2 PV's in series will run it much faster, but slow is ok for me.
I'd like to build a couple of trackers for some of my solar cookers, and these certainly have the low gearing and high torque to do that quite well. Now all I have to do is use some optics and circuitry to make the cooker follow the sun....
Any other ideas on what to do with these fine devices?
