Collecting Antique Slots Since 1969

« on: August 06, 2010, 09:00:02 PM »

?I have noticed quite a few of the Cherry Master "Red Boards" on ebay with about 15 games on each board.  Has anyone tried one of these?  Curious if they were plug 'n play right into the 8 liner harness or if they need special buttons, etc.  They say they are VGA compatible as well.

Scratch Head Checked the auction out... I dont see the Jamma conn, however, the board is VGA ready. One of the chips on that board would hold enough for a few CM boards. So,I could see a few games built in to one board. I have four CM machines, and about 27 "CM" boards. I bought Crazy Bugs (and 2) ,which were my last boards. This looks like something that someone made, which could work great.

on another thread of cherry master somewhere ?? I have a few of  the red boards --they are not plug and play
they have a modfied harness -- many sellers say they are touch screen ready when they are not --beware!!

the old saying is the JAMMA was 28 pin cherry 36 pin etc now the china guys are making a harness for 9.99 that claim its a cherry master 36 pin jamma ??? but it does work .

on the standard harness of cherry master it will let you play some parts of the red board --but not all --in my profile pics i think there is a 15 -game cherry board displayed ..

stay away from the red boards that have 7 games -9-games -15 games unless you want to modfy your harness .i have the pdf file for it ..that showsthe correct pin out ..
