Maybe someone has seen this before and can help me out a bit:

Every time I turn on my reel touch I get two errors.  The first error is on the top box -  It displays that there are cmos errors and I have to press F1 to continue.

My first thought is to change the battery on the motherboard.  I'm going to give that a shot and see if it helps.  If the error was battery low defaults loaded - I'd feel more comfortable .  I'll post the second error in another thread.

Any thoughts?

Most likely the battery...

I had the exact same issue and a fresh new battery made it go away after I saved my settings.

Great - you've given me hope  - what is it a 2032 or a 2025?  I'll run to radio shack right now (I'm out)  and pop it in when I get home.

I forget exactly, but it was the same number as the battery I replaced. I got a two pack at my local drug store.

It's a 2032 - I just replaced it so we'll see what happens.  I'll leave the machine off for a few days to test it out.

No need to leave it off for that long. Once you have saved the CMOS settings (default) and got the game to boot up, you then power off for just a min or so. When you turn it back on, the "prompt" should no longer appear!
